Finley obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from the University of Wyoming. During his studies, he developed interests in functional programming, compiler construction, and programming language theory. He loves teaching almost as much as he loves learning, and is particularly passionate about Haskell education and development. He has taught university-level courses on functional programming and programming language implementation using Haskell.
Outside of work, Finley enjoys creating and listening to music, taking photos, and spending time in the beautiful Wyoming wilderness.
