Thomas Winant

Haskell Consultant

Thomas learned Haskell in 2011 and has been a functional programming enthusiast ever since. At the KU Leuven in Belgium, he obtained a master’s degree in engineering, computer science in 2013 and a PhD in computer science in 2018. During his time as PhD researcher, he contributed the Partial Type Signatures language extension to GHC.

He is a proponent of functional programming languages with strong static type systems, as they facilitate the development of safe, correct, and modular code.
